Our biggest piece of the month. The Great Resignation continues apace. In this sneak peak at my new book, I looked at the myths behind why people are quitting their jobs. The reactions were passionate.
Good health care and a pension are 2 things that locked employees to a company. Now that those are mostly gone from all employers, there is no reason to stay with a company. Companies took those away and now the employee feels no sense of loyalty, no reason to stay. There is no reason not to jump to another company for a couple more bucks an hour, better culture, better hours or more salary. I think it mostly boils down to those 2 things. - Terry Stodgill
